The 70-minute animation, which is aimed to develop religious themes, will be made at the Qom branch of IRIB, IRNA reported. Titled The Green Journey (Safar-e Sabz), the production narrates the life and events surrounding the Prophet Solomon based on the Qur'anic narratives and some other religious sources in a humorous atmosphere. Produced and directed by Saeed Gaeini, the animation is made in 3-D with a merging of the present and the time of the Prophet Solomon to make it more attractive to the audience. The characters have been so well thought out and the characterizations are impressive enough to motivate the audience to identify with the story. Fatemeh Nasiri Fard is in charge of the art direction. Written by Bahram Jalalipour, the animation is due to be ready for broadcasting in April, 2012. FGP/MTM/SL
