Step 3: Paint - Using acrylic or fabric paint, paint the front side of the leather in whatever color you prefer. If you’re using a light color on dark leather, it may help to paint a white base coat before adding color – I did this for my pink flower (see below) and it made the pink much brighter. For my white flower I just did two coats.
